Here To Help

Being new to the gym or lifting weights is not a problem, you’re in the right place looking to learn and improve yourself! Many people I’ve worked with have had little to no experience in the weights area of the gym. Helping woman and men discover the benefits of lifting weights is a extremely rewarding part of my work. Helping them gain confidence in an area they once might of felt overwhelmed and receive the physical and mental rewards from weight training they were unaware of. We can often achieve more than we are aware of with the right help and support, LGC has the experience and knowledge that has been tried and tested to help you start and progress in your weightlifting journey.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. Do I need to bring anything to the sessions?

A. A drink is recommend, water or beverage of your choice. Wear sports clothing you are most comfortable in, trainers, shorts or leggings, t-shirt or a long sleeve.

Q. Do I have to have gym experience to start?

A. No experience is required, during a consultation we will assess your current fitness levels, then start building a solid foundation for you to make progress. It’s often very rewarding working with people from the start of their weight lifting journey and to see them grow.

Q. How often should I be training?

A. For most people we recommend training 3-4 times a week, this allows for a good amount of volume and the consistency will lead to changes in the body. We have seen great results in individuals training 2-3 times a week but this tends to be for people beginning their journey in the gym. After learning a bit more about you and your lifestyle, we can then advise on the best training frequency for you.
